Welcome to the website of Stocker Family Law (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use this website.
Stocker Family Law is a legal brand associated with Elizabeth Stocker, a consultant solicitor practising in England and Wales.
Stocker Family Law operates as a client engagement and marketing platform. Legal services are provided through regulated law firms, including Setfords Solicitors and, where applicable, other regulated law firms. Any legal advice or representation is delivered through the instructed firm under its own terms of business and regulatory obligations.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit the use of the website by any other person. Prohibited behaviour includes transmitting unlawful or offensive content, attempting unauthorised access, or misusing enquiry forms.

5.1 Appointments must be booked through the designated booking process.
5.2 Where a fee is payable, payment must be made in advance following issuance of a payment request by the instructed law firm.
5.3 Where a paid appointment is booked, your matter will be opened with the relevant instructed law firm, currently Setfords Solicitors or, where applicable, other regulated law firms. You will be required to complete that firm’s onboarding process, including identity verification and compliance checks, and you will be issued with their client care documentation and terms of business.
5.4 Once you have completed onboarding and payment has been received, a solicitor-client relationship will be established with the instructed law firm, and the appointment will constitute formal legal instruction subject to that firm’s terms and regulatory obligations.
5.5 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel appointments where necessary, including where onboarding requirements are not completed, payment has not been received, or there is misuse of the booking system.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, or not attended, may result in the fee being retained.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stocker Family Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this website or any preliminary consultation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Legal services, where provided, are subject to the terms and liability provisions of the instructed law firm.
